Abstract

Bangladesh is the eighth-most populous country in the world and is one of the most densely populated countries with a population of nearly 170 million in an area of 148,460 square kilometres (57,320 sq mi) as well as having one of the fastest growing economies in the world. As a result, Bangladesh faces challenges and opportunities in regards to public health.

Public health is a term that encompasses to all spheresof human life and their work to promote and retain thehealth of a country or community. Public health takeactions to improve the overall healthful conditions thoseinfluences the factors the health of the community byimproving the health of the individual’s activities whichinclude disease prevention, disease screening, diseasetreatment, as well as monitoring the environmental,social, economic, and political factors to improve thehealth of the public.
